Elevated Roots operates a brand new state-of-the-art cannabis dispensary and indoor cultivation facility with its primary focus on elevating the customer experience through its passion for excellence, cannabis education and detail-oriented/friendly staff.

About the Dispensary Operations Associate:
Elevated Roots is currently seeking diligent, committed operations associates who are looking for full-time or part-time employment with opportunity for growth as our brand expands. Our operations associates will be trustworthy, dependable, detail-oriented and are responsible for all policy and procedure, compliance, ingestion and all other operational objectives of the business.

Operations Associate Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly throughout the operations department.
  • Ensures compliance with all safety and security policies within the dispensary.
  • Prepare and package all orders for Elevated Roots customers.
    Maintain a super clean and organized processing room.
  • Receive, count and document inventory deliveries.
  • Unpack, sort and label merchandise as directed.
    Inform Co-Manager of Operations of upcoming inventory needs.
  • Adhere to distribution guidelines.
  • Maintain facility cleanliness.
  • Merchandising and restocking.
  • Assisting sales team on sales floor when needed
  • Clear knowledge, understanding and adherence of cannabis regulations.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Participates in ongoing education and professional development as needed.
  • Maintain a positive FUN attitude that promotes teamwork.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.
  • Work collectively and respectfully with other team members.
  • Additional duties as assigned by management.

Competencies:

  • Desire to learn about our products and various cannabis applications.
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills & Point of Sale software.
  • Strong attention to detail and a team-player mentality.
  • FUN attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Intermediate-level math skills. A key component of meeting our business compliance standards is to perform mathematical calculations to ensure that we are not making sales over the “daily limits”. Failure to perform these calculations could be a store audit (during which the store would be closed) and/or losing our license to sell.
  • Having METRC or Greenbits Experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of marijuana strains, (indicas, sativas, hybrids), edibles, extracts, and current products on the market is a plus.

Operations Associate Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • 2+ years of operations or inventory experience
  • Able to work days, nights, holidays and weekends.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure

Physical Requirements:

  • This position operates in a professional retail store environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers, receipt printers, IPads etc.
  • Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time.
  • Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force regularly to move objects to and from, including overhead lifting.
  • Visual Acuity – Having close visual acuity to perform activities such as: viewing a computer terminal, reading, visual inspection involving small parts/details.

Elevated Roots is currently seeking outgoing and passionate sales associates who are looking for full-time or part-time employment with opportunity for growth as our brand expands. Our sales associates will be trustworthy, dependable, detail-oriented and ready to deliver the highest quality of customer service to each and every customer that enters our store. The most important aspects of your job will be to educate, excite and progress each sales experience through to a successful close from start to finish. Our main hospitality goals are to ensure all customers are well-informed, highly-satisfied with their purchase and are “wowed” by our unique retail experience.

Sales Associate Responsibilities:

  • Welcomes all customers in a warm, sincere and helpful manner.
  • Processing all salesfloor and curbside pick-up transactions.
  • Meet/Exceed personal sales volume and KPI goals.
  • Clear knowledge, understanding and adherence of cannabis regulations.
  • Assist customers with choosing the right products according to their ailments/desires.

Business Development Representative (Sales)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Business Development Representative will play a crucial role in driving our sales and distribution efforts by partnering with our production facility to wholesale cannabis products. This position involves developing relationships with dispensary managers and owners and other cannabis industry professionals, ensuring timely product deliveries, and meeting sales targets while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and compliance with local cannabis regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strategy and business plan for meeting individualized sales objectives, including identifying, analyzing, prioritizing, and targeting existing and potential dispensaries/partners within the state for product sales opportunities.
  • Develop strategy for product and POS material placements within partner accounts to optimize sales and market visibility
  • Build partner willingness and capability to collaborate with the Company on key business fundamentals and drivers to navigate transformation within the cannabis industry, and to increase market share
  • Coordinate with the production facility to ensure a steady supply of products and manage inventory levels.
  • Schedule and conduct regular visits to dispensaries, educating clients about the benefits and features of our products.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with dispensaries and promote the Company’s brands through personal correspondence and influence, dispensary visits and presentations. Including, but not limited to addressing inquiries and resolving them in a timely manner.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to ensure mutual success and satisfaction.
  • Track sales performance, including orders, deliveries, and customer feedback, and report regularly to the Sales Manager.
  • Ensure that all sales activities comply with local cannabis regulations and company policies.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and expand the customer base.
  • Collaborate with Director of Business Development on area specific partner and sales planning, company product initiatives, and improving market share within the state.
  • Track ALL sales performance, customer feedback, and industry insights through dedicated CRM

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in sales, wholesale, or a related field OR
  • 3+ years of experience in Cannabis, Alcohol, Tobacco or other regulated industry
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Candidate must provide at least 2 employment or personal references that the Company can contact directly

Knowledge & Skills:

  • In-depth understanding of cannabis products, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
  • Familiarity and eagerness to learn a plus
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds, as product deliveries may require handling packaging or product samples.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and travel for long periods, including during visits to dispensaries or attending events.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods when performing administrative tasks such as updating sales reports, responding to emails, or using the computer.
  • Comfortable driving for extended periods as part of regular travel to dispensaries across the region.
  • Ability to navigate stairs, uneven terrain, or other obstacles during in-person visits to various dispensary locations.
