CANNABIS COURIER SERVICES EXPANDING IN MASS.
FROM GBH:
Athol-based We Can Deliver Boston and Bellingham-based Your Green Package got final approval to start delivering cannabis in Massachusetts.
The state’s Cannabis Control Commission (CCC) approved both to start making deliveries of recreational marijuana July 3.
We Can Deliver Boston’s first few cannabis delivery orders have already been filled, co-founder Gabriel Salazar told GBH News.
“We’re excited to be the first to start doing recreational marijuana deliveries as couriers,” he said on Monday. “Our goal is to develop into the Uber Eats of weed delivery. … Once we get the full fleet up and running, we’re going to be doing on-demand deliveries within 90 minutes.”

Vets want PTSD added to medical pot conditions
BOSTON — Iraq War veteran Steve Mandile was injured during a deployment and has struggled with chronic pain and post-traumatic stress disorder.
He uses marijuana to treat his symptoms, unlike many vets with similar problems who struggle, he said, because the state doesn’t recognize PTSD and other chronic illnesses as medical conditions that qualify them to get a state-issued medical cannabis card.
That would change under a proposal heard Tuesday by the Legislature’s Joint Committee on Cannabis Policy, which would add PTSD, cancer, opioid use disorder and other illnesses to the list of qualifying conditions.
